INTRODUCTION

The Bachelor of Information Technology with specialization in database administration course provides knowledge and skills to demonstrate database design and development with a proper understanding of database concepts, tools, techniques and technologies.

In addition to understanding general concepts of computing, this three-year degree course enables students to master the appropriate design, development and implementation skills and to administer a relational database in different platforms using appropriate methodologies.

Entry Requirements

  • Successful completion of A’ Level- (2 passes Above ‘E’/ if Dhivehi and Islam Above ‘C’) OR
  • Attainment of Level 4 qualification in a related field OR
  • Attainment of a Level 4 Foundation Study Program approved for the specific Diploma program OR

Experience Pathway:

  • Completion of a Level 4 qualification (unrelated), and successful completion of Cyryx College approved University Preparation Program* OR 
  • 20 years old, completion of secondary school, 2 years of a relevant work experience, and successful completion of Cyryx College approved University Preparation Program
