Fathih Ali Ibrahim – Master of Business Administration (ongoing)

On the next edition of our “Know our students” series, we are pleased to introduce Fathih Ali Ibrahim, who is currently pursuing his Master of Business Administration at Cyryx College. Fathih, who is native of R Angolhitheemu moved to Male’ after completing his O level and since then he has been studying at Cyryx College from his diploma and then his bachelors in business administration, which he specialized in human resource.

Fathih is currently an Administrative Officer at the Department of Heritage while being a fulltime postgraduate student at Cyryx College. Fathih notes that working in the heritage has developed a passion to the area and it is now one of his hobbies to do research in the domain. Fathih is also committed to becoming a future entrepreneur in the Maldives through the managerial and leadership knowledge he is gaining at Cyryx College and the experiences he is getting from the construction business his family is operating, which he’s also taking an active role.

With regard to the studies at Cyryx College, Fathih says the reason why he likes Cyryx is due to its flexibility, rigor and the relevance of its program. Fathih is content with the applicability of the knowledge he is learning at Cyryx College. Fathih says completing the assignment at Cyryx enable him to develop a deeper understanding of how theories are related in the real business world.

Fathih inspires Apple’s former CEO, Steve Job, who he says has demonstrated a great example for transformers to shake the industries. As someone who has a knack to creativity, Fathih enjoyed the Creativity and Innovation module he studied in the master of business administration program which he says gave him a new way to see things. We wish Fathih all the best in his studies and his dream of becoming a successful entrepreneur.

Fathmath Nabeela – Bachelor of Business in Finance (2018)

 

On our Know Our Students series, we are pleased to introduce our current student, Fathmath Nabeela, who is completing her Bachelor of Business in Finance. Nabeela is a hard-working student who manages to study at Cyryx College whilst working full time at Maldives Customs. She aspires to become a finance professional and her hobby is in arts and crafts.

Nabeela notes that she joined Cyryx College for the flexible study options it offers to study for her degree. She notes that she is inculcating a rich mindset with the concepts she learns in her studies and she greatly enjoys the lectures taken by the academics at Cyryx. She is glad that she is making a lot of great friends from different backgrounds and the social learning environment at Cyryx.

Nabeela is a fan of Oprah Winfrey for her philanthropic work and her courage she demonstrated in her life. We wish Nabeela all the best in her studies and the upcoming final exams she would sit in few days.

Hawwa Shuzee Adnan – Certificate III in Information Technology (2018)

 

We are pleased to introduce our students Hawwa Shuzee Adnan, “Shuzee” who is currently studying for Certificate III in Information Technology. Shuzee aspired to become a health care professional in future and is an avid listener of pop songs.

She chose Cyryx College for its reputation as a technology education provider and she is interested to become technological savvy. Shuzee is a friendly and dedicated student who enjoys studying with students with diverse interest. Shuzee notes that she enjoys studying at Cyryx as she makes a lot of great friends and the friendly lecturers which she learns a lot of new knowledge and skills.

We wish Shuzee all the best in her studies and we are proud of his dedication to become a tech savvy youth.

Aishath Ayna Hassan – Certificate IV in Psychology (2018)

 

We are pleased to introduce our student, Aishath Ayna Hassan, who is studying for our Certificate IV in Psychology. Ayna is a curious to know more about social science and how the social world operates. She is currently working in insurance as an insurance sales agent. She is ambitious to become a future marketing professional.

Ayna notes that her plan of studying psychology at Cyryx College is to learn about human behavior which would be indispensable to study marketing at bachelors’ level and to be a successful marketer in future.

Ayna is noted for dedication while working as an insurance agent and studying at Cyryx and at the same time being a local singer which she took it as a hobby and she later became more serious to sing at studios and cafés. We are proud of Ayna and her dedication to devote her time to multiple commitments.
